The Seventh International Conference “Issues on Modern Machines Mechanics” is held by the East-Siberia State University of Technology and Management (ESSTUM) with the participation of the Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMASH RAN),the Wuhan Textile University (People's Republic of China), the Irkutsk State Transport University, the Bratsk State University, with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research Development.
Since 2000, the conference is held every three years. According to the established tradition, the conference will take place on the picturesque shore of the world-famous Lake Baikal on the recreation center of the ESSTUM "Rovesnik".
The purpose of the conference is to discuss approaches and methods for solving actual problems in the mechanics of technical systems of various machines, researching and designing mechatronic systems, evaluating the strength and reliability characteristics of composite materials and structures from them, and improving production technologies.
During the conference, it is planned to hold a round table on mutually interesting topics agreed with representatives of Wuhan Textile University (PRC) and promising for joint development. It is also planned to hold a round table with specialists of the aviation industry on issues of manufacturing techniques and design methods of composites, technologies hot sheet metal forming of titanium alloys. The workshop of young scientists "Mathematical modeling and algorithms of raster graphics vectorization" will be held within the section "Modeling, automation of mechanical systems design".
All submissions will reviewed. Printed version of the proceedings will assigned an ISBN. The electronic version of the book will be included in the Russian Science Citation Index and posted on the websites www.elibrary.ru and www.immm.su.
Working languages of the Conference are Russian and English.
